Buying an OHIO BUCKEYE Tree
What are you buying
- A 5-7 foot buckeye tree in a 2 gallon pot from the National Champion Ohio buckeye (Oakbrook Illinois) or a former national champion and reigning State Champion Ohio buckeye (Huron county Ohio).
- A DNA certificate with DNA marker verification verifying the tree you receive is a seedling from the national champion tree.
- A 5" x 7" laminate plaque, with 18" stand, inscribed as follows "Seedling from a National Champion Ohio buckeye tree in honor (or memory) of x".
- An 8.5" x 11" color photo of champion tree.
- Instructions for care and planting of tree.

- State (and former national} champion Ohio buckeye with engraved laminate plaque - $250
To purchased a tree, call Timberwind Tree Farm at (937) 602-7902 to schedule pickup/delivery. Tree package can be picked up at nursery or delivery is available in Greater Cincinnati / Dayton area (30 mile radius from nursery) for additional $50 fee. Delivery to Columbus Ohio is also available. The tree package can be purchased as a Christmas gift or as a gift certificate for pickup/delivery in spring. Call for details.
Warranty
Your Ohio buckeye tree is warrantied for a one year period from the date of purchase. If the tree dies during this period, return the dead tree with original DNA certificate to Timberwind Tree Farm and a replacement DNA certified Ohio buckeye tree will be provided free of charge. Nursery inspected and licensed by Ohio Department of Agriculture.
